Claim Offer Terms
Last updated: 15 October 2026
1. About these terms
1.1 These Claim Offer Terms cover claim offers on Get Dizzy: limited offers that a venue makes available to a set number of members within a set time window, for example "20 free desserts with any main, 6pm to 8pm". Part A applies to members who claim offers. Part B applies to venue partners who run them.
1.2 Get Dizzy AI ("Get Dizzy", "we", "us", "our") is operated by Get Dizzy AI LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17045871), with its registered office at 340 The Crescent, Colchester, Essex, CO4 9AD.
1.3 These terms add to our Consumer Terms of Service and our Venue Partner Terms and Conditions. If anything in those terms conflicts with these terms, these terms apply to claim offers.
1.4 You accept these terms the first time you claim an offer (members) or set up a claim offer (venue partners). We keep a record of the version you accepted and when.
1.5 We may update these terms. If we make a significant change, we will show you the new version and ask you to accept it before your next claim or claim offer.
Part A: Members
2. Who can claim
2.1 You need a Get Dizzy member account, and you must be 18 or over. You confirm that you are 18 or over when you accept these terms.
2.2 While membership is limited to our waitlist, only members with early access can claim.
2.3 Claiming is free. We will never ask you for payment or card details to claim an offer.
3. How claiming works
3.1 Each claim offer shows how many claims there are, how many are left, the day and time window, and any conditions the venue has set. The number left is live: our system checks it at the moment you claim.
3.2 The venue chooses when claims open: as soon as it launches the offer (so you can claim ahead, for example at lunchtime for that evening), or when the offer starts. The offer shows which. Claims are first come, first served. Once every claim is taken, there are none left unless someone gives one back or a claim lapses.
3.3 You can make one claim per offer, and hold one live claim at a time.
3.4 When you claim, the offer is held for you for 30 minutes, or until the offer ends if that is sooner. Confirm that you're going within that time. If you don't, the claim goes back for someone else automatically, with no penalty. We may remind you by email and push notification when about 15 minutes are left.
3.5 Once you confirm, you can use your claim at the venue at any time while the offer runs, until it ends. A claim made ahead can only be used once the offer has started. We may remind you about an hour before it starts.
3.6 You can give a claim back free until 30 minutes before the offer starts, or for 30 minutes after claiming if you claim later than that. After that your claim is locked in: if you don't use it, it counts as a no-show (see section 5). Once you've given a claim back, or let it lapse without confirming, you can't claim that offer again.
4. Using your claim at the venue
4.1 Show your live pass in the Get Dizzy app to the venue's staff. The pass shows your first name and the first letter of your last name, the offer, a live clock and a countdown. Screenshots or recordings of a pass are not valid.
4.2 Staff mark your claim as redeemed, and we'll let you know when they do. Each claim can be used once, by you, for the offer shown. If you can't show your pass, for example because you have no signal or your battery is flat, give the staff your name: the venue can find your claim on its list and redeem it.
4.3 The venue provides the offer and is responsible for it. A venue may refuse service where the law or its own reasonable policies allow, for example if you can't show ID for an offer that includes alcohol, if you appear to be drunk, or under its house rules. Venues agree not to refuse a confirmed claim without a fair reason.
4.4 Offers that include alcohol are only for people aged 18 or over. The venue may ask you for ID. Please drink responsibly.
4.5 A claim has no cash value and can't be sold, transferred or exchanged.
5. No-shows and pauses
5.1 If you confirm a claim but it isn't redeemed by the time the offer ends, and you didn't give it back in time, it counts as a no-show. We'll tell you in the app. If you did go, the venue can correct it up to 48 hours after the offer ends, and the no-show is removed.
5.2 If two of your claims count as no-shows, claiming is paused on your account for one month. You can still browse offers and use the rest of Get Dizzy. After a pause, the count starts again.
5.3 If you think a no-show was recorded by mistake, email support@getdizzy.ai. We will look into it, and if it was wrong we will remove it and lift any pause it caused.
5.4 We may cancel claims or stop you claiming if we reasonably believe the feature is being misused, for example by using more than one account, claiming automatically, or selling claims.
6. If an offer is cancelled or not honoured
6.1 A venue can cancel a claim offer. If it does, any claim you hold for it is cancelled with no penalty, and Your claims will show this.
6.2 Venues run their own offers, so we can't guarantee that every offer will be available or honoured. If a venue doesn't honour a confirmed claim, please tell us at support@getdizzy.ai. We take this seriously and may stop that venue running claim offers.
6.3 Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights.
Part B: Venue partners
7. Running claim offers
7.1 Venues on the Essential plan can run one claim offer each calendar month. Venues on Pro can run one claim offer each day. No venue can run more than one claim offer on the same day (UK time). Claim offers don't count towards Essential's limit on active deals. A claim offer counts towards these limits once you launch it, even if you cancel it later. Drafts don't count.
7.2 Each claim offer has between 1 and 100 claims and runs for between 30 minutes and 12 hours. It can run past midnight, and it counts as the day it starts. You can set one up to 7 days ahead.
7.3 You choose whether members can claim as soon as you launch the offer, or only once it starts. You can save a claim offer as a draft and change it as often as you like. Once you launch it, members who have favourited you may be told about it straight away, so it can't be edited. You can cancel a launched claim offer at any time. If you do, any claims held or confirmed for it are cancelled and the members can see this, and the offer still counts towards your limits in 7.1. In exceptional circumstances, we may decide not to count it.
7.4 Members who have favourited your venue may be told about your claim offer, and your pin on the map shows it while it is live. These alerts follow each member's notification settings and our quiet hours.
8. Your commitments
8.1 Every claim offer is a Get Dizzy Exclusive: it can only be claimed through Get Dizzy. You're welcome to tell people about it, for example on social media or with signs in the venue, as long as you say it's claimed on Get Dizzy. You must not offer it any other way while it is running.
8.2 You must honour every confirmed claim shown as live on your dashboard, for the offer as described, during its window, unless the law requires you to refuse or for a reason set out in 4.3. You must describe the offer accurately, including any significant conditions.
8.3 You must not give a false impression of how many claims there are or how long the offer lasts, for example by setting a number of claims you don't intend to honour.
8.4 Mark a claim as redeemed when you honour it. A confirmed claim that isn't redeemed by the end of the offer counts as a no-show automatically, so if a member did come in, mark it as "They came in" within 48 hours of the offer ending. Never leave a no-show standing for a member who came in or whom you turned away.
8.5 Claim offers are free to claim. You must not ask members for a deposit, a fee or card details to honour a claim.
9. Alcohol and licensing
9.1 You are responsible for making sure that any claim offer that includes alcohol meets your premises licence and the law. We don't check offers before they go live, but we may cancel or remove any offer, as set out in 11.2.
9.2 You must comply with the Licensing Act 2003 and the mandatory licence conditions, including the ban on irresponsible promotions and the ban on selling alcohol below the permitted price (alcohol duty plus VAT). Claim offers must not include drinking games, or anything that encourages people to drink as much as possible or to drink a set amount within a time limit. Unlimited offers, such as a bottomless brunch, are allowed, but the licence conditions ban running them in a way that carries a significant risk to the licensing objectives, so you must run them responsibly, for example with a time limit and food.
9.3 You must apply your age verification policy and only serve alcohol to people aged 18 or over.
9.4 These terms are written for venues in England and Wales. Wales also has minimum unit pricing for alcohol, and Scotland has its own licensing law, which restricts drinks promotions more tightly. You must check the rules that apply to your venue before running a claim offer that includes alcohol.
10. Member details
10.1 For each claim, you will see the member's first name, the first letter of their last name, and the claim's status, until 7 days after the offer ends. Use these only to honour claims and to record no-shows. Don't copy or keep them, or use them for anything else, including marketing.
11. Responsibility
11.1 You are responsible for the offers you run and for honouring confirmed claims. Get Dizzy is not responsible for members who don't come in and does not pay compensation for no-shows.
11.2 We may cancel or remove a claim offer, or stop a venue running them, if it breaks these terms, the Venue Partner Terms and Conditions or the law, or if members tell us that confirmed claims aren't being honoured.
