Event Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 27 May 2026
1. About these terms
1.1 These Event Terms and Conditions ("Event Terms") govern (a) events organised and hosted by Get Dizzy AI ("Get Dizzy Events"), and (b) third-party events listed on the Get Dizzy platform by Venue Partners or other organisers ("Listed Events").
1.2 Get Dizzy AI ("Get Dizzy", "we", "us", "our") is operated by Get Dizzy AI LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17045871), with its registered office at 340 The Crescent, Colchester, Essex.
1.3 By registering for a Get Dizzy Event, or by using the Platform to discover or engage with a Listed Event, you agree to these Event Terms.
1.4 These Event Terms should be read alongside the Consumer Terms of Service (for consumers) and the Venue Partner Terms and Conditions (for Venue Partners). Where these Event Terms conflict with either of those documents, the relevant terms of service take precedence for matters relating to your use of the Platform. For matters relating to event attendance, these Event Terms take precedence. For Listed Events, the organiser's own event terms apply to your attendance and any tickets or bookings.
PART A: GET DIZZY EVENTS
This part applies to events organised and hosted by Get Dizzy, such as launch events, showcase evenings, partner networking events, press events, and platform training or workshop sessions.
2. Registration and entry
2.1 Get Dizzy Events are currently free to attend. If we introduce paid events in the future, we will update these terms accordingly.
2.2 Some events require advance registration. Where registration is required, we will confirm your place by email. Registration does not guarantee entry if the event reaches capacity before your arrival. Where capacity is limited, entry is first-come-first-served unless we state otherwise, and we may operate timed entry windows.
2.3 We reserve the right to refuse entry to any person at our reasonable discretion, including where we believe attendance would pose a risk to safety, where the person's behaviour is disruptive or inappropriate, or where the person does not meet any stated eligibility requirements for the event.
2.4 Individual events may have additional conditions (such as age restrictions, dress codes, or special entry requirements). Where applicable, these will be communicated before or at the time of registration and form part of these Event Terms for that event.
2.5 Unless stated otherwise, Get Dizzy Events are open to attendees aged 18 and over. Where an event takes place at a licensed venue, you may be asked to provide proof of age at the door in accordance with the venue's licensing conditions.
3. Event access codes
3.1 We may issue event access codes that provide temporary access to Get Dizzy platform features for a limited period. Event access codes are subject to the following conditions:
(a) each code has a stated expiry date and time, after which it will no longer function;
(b) codes are for personal use only, limited to one per person and one per Get Dizzy account, and may not be sold, traded, or distributed publicly;
(c) we may require a Get Dizzy account to redeem an event access code;
(d) we may revoke or deactivate a code at any time if we reasonably believe it is being misused;
(e) access provided via an event code is temporary and does not create a subscription or ongoing entitlement to platform features.
3.2 After an event code expires, users who wish to continue using premium features will need to subscribe through the standard process set out in the Consumer Terms of Service.
4. Behaviour and safety
4.1 All attendees must behave responsibly and respectfully towards other attendees, event staff, and the host venue's staff and property.
4.2 We reserve the right to remove any attendee whose behaviour is, in our reasonable opinion, disruptive, offensive, threatening, or poses a risk to safety.
4.3 You must comply with all reasonable instructions given by event staff and the host venue's staff, including any health and safety instructions, emergency evacuation procedures, and venue-specific rules.
4.4 Where an event takes place at a licensed venue, you must comply with the venue's own rules regarding the purchase and consumption of alcohol. Get Dizzy does not sell or supply alcohol at events; any alcohol service is provided by the host venue under their own licence and terms. Where Get Dizzy covers the cost of drinks at an event (such as a welcome drink or complimentary bar), the alcohol is still supplied by the host venue under their own licence. Get Dizzy's role is limited to covering the cost as part of the event budget. The host venue remains responsible for compliance with the Licensing Act 2003 and their premises licence conditions, including the responsible service of alcohol.
4.5 Smoking (including e-cigarettes and vaping) is only permitted in designated areas as indicated by the host venue.
5. Photography, filming, and social media
5.1 We may photograph or film at Get Dizzy Events for use in our marketing materials, social media, website content, and press communications. We do this on the basis of our legitimate interest in promoting our events and business. Where reasonably practicable, we will display signage at the venue to inform attendees that photography and filming is taking place. By attending, you acknowledge that photography and filming will take place and that you may appear in images or footage. Our Privacy Policy explains your rights in relation to this.
5.2 If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, please inform a member of the event team on arrival. We will make reasonable efforts to respect your preference, but we cannot guarantee that you will not appear incidentally in wide-angle or crowd shots.
5.3 You are welcome to take your own photographs and videos at our events for personal, non-commercial use. If you share images or footage on social media, we ask that you:
(a) tag Get Dizzy where appropriate;
(b) do not share images that identify other attendees without their consent;
(c) do not misrepresent the event or Get Dizzy in any way.
5.4 We may ask you not to photograph or film certain parts of an event (for example, where confidential information is being presented or where a speaker has requested no recording). You must respect any such requests.
5.5 Any photographs or footage you share publicly that feature Get Dizzy branding, materials, or event content remain subject to our intellectual property rights as set out in the Consumer Terms of Service and Venue Partner Terms and Conditions.
6. Platform demonstrations
6.1 Get Dizzy Events may include live demonstrations of the platform, such as projected maps, AI search demos, or venue listings shown on screens.
6.2 Content shown during demonstrations is for illustrative purposes. Sample data displayed at events may not reflect real venues, real deals, or real-time information unless expressly stated.
7. Changes and cancellation
7.1 We reserve the right to change the date, time, venue, or format of a Get Dizzy Event at any time. Where reasonably possible, we will give advance notice of any material changes to registered attendees by email.
7.2 If we cancel an event entirely, registered attendees will be notified by email.
7.3 We are not liable for cancellations or changes caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control (such as severe weather, public health emergencies, venue closures, or government restrictions).
8. Liability for Get Dizzy Events
8.1 We take reasonable care to ensure our events are safe and well-organised. However, attendance at any Get Dizzy Event is at your own risk.
8.2 To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for:
(a) loss of or damage to personal property brought to the event, except where caused by our negligence;
(b) injury or illness arising from attendance, except where caused by our negligence;
(c) the actions or behaviour of other attendees;
(d) any failure or interruption of the host venue's facilities, services, or infrastructure that is outside our reasonable control.
8.3 Nothing in these Event Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under the laws of England and Wales. Nothing in these Event Terms affects your statutory rights.
8.4 Get Dizzy Events are held at third-party venues. The host venue is responsible for the condition and safety of its own premises. Any complaints or claims relating to the venue's premises, facilities, food, or drink service should be directed to the host venue.
PART B: LISTED EVENTS
This part applies to third-party events listed on the Get Dizzy platform by Venue Partners or other organisers.
9. Our role in Listed Events
9.1 Get Dizzy acts as an intermediary for Listed Events. We provide a platform for Venue Partners and organisers to display event information to consumers. We are not the organiser, promoter, or host of Listed Events and are not a party to any contract between you and the event organiser.
9.2 Any booking, ticket purchase, or reservation for a Listed Event is made directly between you and the event organiser, through whatever process they use. Get Dizzy does not currently process payments, issue tickets, or handle bookings for Listed Events. If we introduce in-app event bookings in the future, event-specific checkout terms will apply and will be displayed at the point of purchase.
9.3 Our role is limited to displaying event information provided by Venue Partners and organisers. We are not required to verify the accuracy, completeness, or currency of Listed Event information. We may remove or correct listings where we reasonably believe they are misleading.
10. Accuracy of Listed Event information
10.1 Event details (including dates, times, venue, pricing, age restrictions, and availability) are provided by the event organiser and may change without notice to us.
10.2 If you are relying on specific details (such as availability or pricing), we recommend confirming directly with the event organiser before attending.
10.3 If you notice that a Listed Event contains incorrect or misleading information, please report it to us at support@getdizzy.ai and we will take reasonable steps to review and, where appropriate, correct or remove the listing.
11. Liability for Listed Events
11.1 We are not liable for any aspect of a Listed Event, including but not limited to:
(a) cancellations, postponements, or changes by the organiser;
(b) the quality, safety, or suitability of the event;
(c) refunds, ticket disputes, or booking issues;
(d) the accuracy of information provided by the organiser;
(e) the actions or omissions of the organiser, venue, or any third party involved in the event.
11.2 Any disputes relating to a Listed Event should be directed to the event organiser. We may, at our discretion, assist in facilitating communication but have no obligation to resolve disputes between you and an event organiser.
11.3 Nothing in these Event Terms excludes or limits our liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under the laws of England and Wales.
PART C: GENERAL
This part applies to both Get Dizzy Events and Listed Events.
12. Data and privacy
12.1 When you register for a Get Dizzy Event, we collect your name, email address, and any other information you provide during registration (such as your role or organisation). This data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
12.2 Where we collect information via interest forms at events (for example, from venue partners, investors, or press), the information you provide will be used to follow up with you about the opportunity you expressed interest in. Interest forms will clearly state what your information will be used for. If we would like to add you to our mailing list for future communications beyond the specific enquiry, we will ask for your consent at the point of collection. You can withdraw consent at any time. You can also ask us to delete your data at any time by emailing support@getdizzy.ai.
12.3 Event access codes are linked to the email address provided at registration for the purpose of managing temporary platform access. This data is processed under the same terms as standard account data, as set out in the relevant Privacy Policy.
12.4 Attendee data collected at Get Dizzy Events is retained by Get Dizzy. We do not share individual attendee information with host venues or other third parties without your consent, except where required by law or where necessary for the safe operation of the event (for example, providing an attendance count to the venue for fire safety purposes).
12.5 For Listed Events, any personal data you provide directly to an event organiser (such as when booking a ticket through their own systems) is governed by that organiser's privacy policy, not ours. We are not responsible for how third-party organisers handle your data.
13. Governing law
13.1 These Event Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes relating to these terms that cannot be resolved informally should be submitted to the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer resident in Scotland, you may also bring proceedings in the Scottish courts. If you are a consumer resident in Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in the Northern Irish courts.
14. Changes to these Event Terms
14.1 We may update these Event Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our events programme, the Platform, our business practices, or the law.
14.2 Where changes are material, we will notify registered attendees of upcoming events by email to the address provided at registration, and we will display a prominent notice on the Platform. Material changes take effect no earlier than 14 days after notification, unless a shorter period is required by law (for example, to comply with a regulatory direction).
14.3 If you do not agree with changes that affect a future event you have registered for, you may cancel your registration at any time before the event takes place at no cost. For Listed Events, refunds and cancellation terms are set by the event organiser.
14.4 Your continued attendance at events organised by Get Dizzy after the effective date of any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Event Terms.
15. Contact
15.1 If you have questions about a Get Dizzy Event or a Listed Event, contact us at support@getdizzy.ai. For event-day enquiries (such as running late, accessibility needs, or entry issues), a contact number or point of contact will be provided in your registration confirmation email where applicable.
